The Silver Fund, as the largest dealers in the world in old Georg Jensen silver, have a panel of experts, who can assess the value of your Georg Jensen flatware, holloware and Jewelry collection.

The Silver Fund Certificate of Valuation will provide you with the current retail replacement value of your Georg Jensen silver.

This certificate will not only give you, the owner, a sense of reassurance, but will also serve as a vital document for your insurance, family division, charitable donations and asset management.

Your Georg Jensen silver represents a valuable investment and as such should be properly insured against normal forms of loss, such as theft, fire or damage. All too often, valuations for silver are out of date and hopelessly undervalued.

We receive a substantial amount of requests for valuation and make a modest charge of 1% of the total value to cover the time and unrivalled expertise required (Minimum charge $50).

Please note the following:

• We provide written valuations, suitable for insurance purposes, which convey the current retail replacement costs of replacing those goods on the antique Georg Jensen market. They do not represent an offer by us to purchase those goods at the prices stated.
• Valuations may need updating from time to time. We suggest at least every five years for insurance purposes.
• The written valuation undertaken by us is carried out by our resident panel of experts and is backed by our unrivalled knowledge of the Georg Jensen market.
• To cover our costs in terms of time and knowledge, we charge a fee of $50 or 1% of the total valuation - whichever is the greater.
• On receipt of payment details, we will undertake to carry out your valuation and remit to you within 5 working days. Your card will not be debited until the valuation is ready to be sent to you.
• We may require further details from you, such as dimensions, model numbers and date marks. In exceptional circumstances we may require photographs.
• You are of course, welcome to discuss your items being valued at any time with one of our experts, once you have agreed to proceed with the valuation.
